I'm Lisa-Jane the founder of Organised Genie. I’m a professional organiser, based in Chelmsford, Essex, who help people create calm, functional spaces that support the way they really live and work. I believe clutter isn’t just about “stuff”, it’s often the result of busy lives, major changes, or simply not having the time or headspace to get organised. That’s why I take a practical, non-judgemental approach, to bring order, clarity and breathing space back into your home or workspace.

My focus is on creating organised spaces that feel lighter, easier and truly manageable. Whether you’re overwhelmed by paperwork, struggling with storage, preparing for a move or ready for a fresh start, I’ll help you make confident decisions and put simple systems in place that actually last.

I love my job because I get to help others and in return, I gain immense job satisfaction. My previous career was in media sales, which I truly enjoyed. Then I welcomed three wonderful children but eventually the lifestyle no longer suited my family’s needs, and I knew it was time to rethink my career.

It all began when a friend asked me to organise their home, knowing it was something I naturally excel at. After mentioning it to another friend, they too asked for my help. Word quickly spread, and before I knew it, I had built a thriving client base entirely through referrals and a career that truly found me over 11 years ago. 

I love helping people realise the impact organisation can have on their wellbeing. Many don’t notice how clutter or lack of structure affects their daily lives until their space is transformed. Giving back time through organisation isn’t just a job for me, it’s a gift. Seeing the relief and joy it brings clients is what makes me love what I do.
